Ralph Edward Beechum |||, professionally known as KG Prince is an recording artist from Denver, Colorado. The artist has been consistently putting out music that's doing viral numbers in the music industry lately. Some of his songs hitting 10's of Millions of views. KG Prince has been making music since his teen years back in 2016 and is still dedicated to his passion for music today.

Due to KG Prince's evolving success as an artist, We reached out to him for this interview...

- What is your real name & stage name?

My Real Name is Ralph Edward Beechum ||| and I go by the stage name KG Prince (which means keep going)

- Where are you from?

I was born on Denver Colorado

- What do you do?

I am a recording artist I’ve always wanted to do something musically and I grew up surrounded by music supplied by my family

- How long have you been in your industry?

I made my first song in 2016 but didn’t realistically take it serious until I was featured on the song titled “Squidwards Nose “ gaining over 18 million streams on Spotify alone before getting taken down for copyright and then when I graduated high school in 2018 I went full speed

- What is your biggest accomplishment?

My biggest accomplishment thus far would be hitting my first million streams on Spotify for my song titled “why’d You leave” the song is sampled from joji’s worldstar money and was on my first tape called “palace” in 2018

-How has COVID affected you on your journey?

Covid hasn’t really affected me other then the time when the world was shut down and artist couldn’t do shows but I was still making hits during quarantine, it might’ve helped me out actually

-Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself living off of my music fully and going on tours all across the country

-Are you working on any projects?

I’m currently about to start working on my newest project “Darko” with my producer “LMG” based around topics like love, and tangent universes. Donnie darko is a really powerful movie that resonates with me and I will bring to life my way

-What’s your next move?

My next move is to gain more traction in my city , I want to stay on top of my visuals and I want to do bigger shows

-Is there anything else you want people to know about you?

I am a fully independent artist 90% of my work shown is curated by me I edit videos, engineer music, I make pretty much most of my cover art as well

-How would you describe the music you create?

I would describe it as “Z”

Meaning I speak for my generation

-If not rap, what else would you be doing right now?

I would definitely be doing videography my fav director is Tarantino and I just love visual art

-How much have you grown as an artist?

I’ve grown a lot I feel like I’ve grown to structure my songs better and my strongest suit is making a good hook

-What is your biggest weakness?

It would have to be patience, I am very impatient and I want things now but good things come to those who wait so I’m working on that

-What is the one message you would give to your fans?

Never depend on anyone in this life

-How are you different from others in this industry?

I believe I’m different because I try to be as versatile and chamelic as possible I try to things that aren’t the same as others whether that’s different sounds or song titles
